Q&A with Rhiannon Chesterman – Young Frankenstein at Hope Mill Theatre

The monstrously fun new production of Young Frankenstein has opened at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester. We caught up with the brilliantly talented Rhiannon Chesterman, who takes on the role of the fabulously dramatic Elizabeth Benning.
From Mel Brooks’ legendary humour to belting out one of the most outrageous songs in musical theatre, Rhiannon gives us a glimpse behind the scenes of this hilarious horror-comedy musical.

Production images released for the regional premiere of Mel Brooks’ YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN THE MUSICAL which has its official opening tonight, 15 October, at Hope Mill Theatre Manchester, starring Ore Oduba. The show began previews on 10 October and runs until 30 November. It will then head to Liverpool Playhouse for a limited Christmas season from 3 December 2025 – 3 January 2026 (cast to be announced).
